21/3/24 -

junior doctors will be striking in Wales on 25th - 29th March 2024. Our surgery will remain open during this time. Unfortunately, the strike will impact our service availability and you are likely to find the service busier than normal during this time.  We recommend trying the following services, if you are having difficulty in accessing our care.

NHS Advice www.nhs.uk

Our website for general advice and sick notes

NHS 111 for medical advise or mental health support

Your local pharmacist who can treat common ailments

Your local pharmacist for test and treat (sore throats)

Your optician for eye problems

Your dentist for dental issues

The strikes will also affect  emergency services and A&E waiting times. However, if you feel your illness is life-threatening please still present to the hospital or call 999.
